watching worldcup??
i remember the last world cup on our forum..when there were such footie enthusiasts..like maverick or paheli or vagrant_x..well almost everybody was interested and joined in..
right now watching paraguay-japan penalty shootout..japan missed one..seems no asian team is going into QFs..
tonights portugal spain is going to be a gr8 game..have to watch it if able to keep awake..
btw paraguay won in the penalty shootout..one miss was enuff to seal the fate for japan..sad..

Only watching on weekends…very sad that Portugal lost but good that I didnt watched…another scary match for me between Argentina and Germany….hope Argentina wins…but Germans are playing very aggressive…
yaa..portugal also lost..sad one wudnt get to see chistiano ronaldo any more in this WC..well not that he was doing much so far..he was marked heavily in all games..
and i feel like supporting germany..
the way they played against england was too good..many young attacking players..also luck seemed on their side with that not given goal..anywys the best thing about them is they dont start defending once they score a goal..bt argentina is a heavy local favourites..they have the most number of support and hoardings around here..it wud b sad if they wer to go out so early..

btw shocking result yesterday..brazil who is the favourite of most went out..broke the heart of many around here..

Don’t know what happened with them…more than defeat it was more shocking they were not able to score single goal…
mayb absence of muller? still one goal they cud have scored..bt what to say when they failed to keep possession even for most of the time..
my interest in WC is gone now..netherlands or spain doesnt make a difference..

glad to see u all talkin abt world cup…as u all might remember, I m a diehard argentina fan…and i was so devastated and heartbroken when they were knocked out…I m so disappointed that my fav. player, Messi, had to go home without scoring a single goal…HE had a very good tournament even without scoring a goal however…Poor defense and midfield cost Argentina the tournament…anyways, although I m dead tired of sayin this after every world cup, I have to say once again that I hope Argentina wins it next time….It’s so frustrating u know..I have been watchin worldcup and following Argentina since 94, and the furthest they have ever reached is quarterfinals…It really hurts…ONe of my biggest dreams is to see Argentina lift the world cup…but it looks pretty impossible…I don’t know wht happens to Argentina once they reach the quarterfinals…Anyways, Spain have always been my second fav. team, so I m all for Spain…And I always supported Argentina and wanted the best for them, but I expected Spain to win it all even before the world cup started….Viva Espana…
and finally, Uruguay vs. Germany in 20 mins…GO Uruguay..Go Forlan…
Fantastic match between Uruguay and Germany…sadly Uruguay lost…but that was brilliant kick from Forlan in the last second of the match…almost made it 3-3…just missed from a cm…pretty sad that Klose was not playing cause of injury….he could have knocked out Ronaldo from top spot in scoring most goals…
Yeah..I too was heartbroken after Argentina match…and so many of my friends…it was not about loosing…the way they lost was shocking…i couldn’t believe how their defense was…Messi was outstanding in the tournament event without scoring any goal..
i ddnt watch the match except till first goal..bt saw that last second attempt by forlan today in H/L, wow it cud have changed the outcome..just missed..
yes maverick..i did think you wud be really saddened the day argentina went out..we shared it the last time..this time i wasnt much for argentina..with that england match germany caught my fancy..
anywys what to do..wait for another 4 years..
